We conduct the Concealed Carry Deadly Weapons (CCDW) Course in accordance with guidelines and regulations from the Kentucky State Police. This class qualifies you to receive your KY CCDW permit.

Many people as asking why would you bother with a CCDW license since Kentucky has instituted Constitutional Carry? Good question… here are a few things to consider:

• The purpose of a class with a state-licensed CCDW instructor is not (necessarily) to teach you how to shoot. It teaches you the law regarding the possession and use of firearms in a self defense situation.
• Traveling out of state? States which offer reciprocity with regard to a concealed carry permit from another state are under no obligation to recognize other “constitutional carry” states in lieu of a permit.
• Purchasing a firearm? The process is much simpler if you have a CCDW license.
• Kentucky concealed carry laws apply to ALL deadly weapons, not just firearms.

THINGS REQUIRED FOR COURSE:

• Handgun (if needed, you can use one of ours and purchase the ammo)
• At least 20 rounds of FACTORY ammunition (no reloads)
• Ear & eye protection. We have some available for use, if needed.
• Payment of $75
• Ammunition is available for purchase, if needed.

Range rules must be followed at all times. Weapons must be unloaded at all times unless told to load by the instructor. Bring your weapons UNLOADED.

Lunch will be provided at no charge. Free snacks and drinks are also available.
